Welcome to the Stitch Witch FAQ page, your go-to place for answers about delivery, workshops, visiting the shop, ordering online and everything in between.


About the Shop

Where is Stitch Witch located?

We’re at 6 Queen Street, Market Rasen, Lincolnshire, LN8 3EH right in the heart of the town centre. Easy to find, with nearby parking.

What are your opening hours?

  • Mon–Fri: 9:00 – 3:30

  • Sat: 10:00 – 3:00

  • Sun: Closed

Do you sell online?

Yes! You can shop wool, yarn, fabric, haberdashery and more directly from our website for UK-wide delivery.

Do you offer Click & Collect?

Absolutely. Select Click & Collect at checkout and we’ll prepare your order for you to pick up in-store at your convenience.


Delivery Questions

How much is delivery?

Delivery is £5, or FREE for orders over £50.

How do you send orders?

We usually send parcels via Royal Mail. Large or heavy items may go via courier.

How long will my order take?

Most orders are dispatched within 2–3 working days. Delivery time varies based on Royal Mail or courier schedules.

Can I track my order?

If your order is sent with a tracked service, we’ll email you the tracking details as soon as it's on the way.

Do you ship outside the UK?

Not at the moment. We currently ship within the UK only.


Returns & Refunds

What is your returns policy?

You can return most items within 30 days of delivery or in-store collection as long as they’re unused, unopened and in resale condition.

Which items can’t be returned?

  • Cut fabric (sold by length)

  • Custom or bespoke items

  • Opened or part-used items

Do I cover return postage?

Yes. Return costs are the customer’s responsibility.

My item arrived damaged — what do I do?

Please email stitchwitchshop@gmail.com within 48 hours so we can sort it quickly.


Workshops & Craft Sessions

Do you run craft workshops?

Yes! We run a variety of workshops throughout the year including:

  • Dressmaking

  • Bag making

  • Quilting

  • Witch Stitch Wednesday - 2.5 hrs of knitting, crochet or sewing tuition, booking essential as spaces are limited.

Do you run regular social craft sessions?

We sure do:

  • Stitchcraft Tuesday (10–12) – bring your own project, £4, free cuppa & biscuit drop in session, no booking required

  • Sit & Sew Friday (10–12) – relaxed sewing session, £4, free cuppa & biscuit. Drop in, no booking required.

How do I book a workshop?

You can book online, pop into the shop, or give us a call on 01673 849051.

I’m a beginner — can I join?

Absolutely. Our workshops and sessions welcome all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to experienced makers.


Products & Craft Advice

What do you sell?

We stock a wide range of wool, yarn, fabric, haberdashery, patterns, threads and crafting tools.

Can you help me choose the right materials?

Yes! Gail has over 50 years of crafting experience and is always happy to give guidance.

Can you hold yarn for me?

Yes — we can hold your yarn for up to one month if you’re unsure how much you need for your project.

Do you stock fabric by the metre?

Yes. We sell a variety of quilting cottons, dressmaking fabrics and more.


Ordering Online

Can I check if something is in stock before I order?

Of course — just give us a call or send a message through the contact form.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

If you’d like to give the gift of crafting, you can buy online or in store.

Can I see colours in person before buying?

We do our best to photograph colours accurately, but you’re always welcome to visit the shop if you prefer to browse in person.
