    Description

    This is a wonderful small blanket that is perfect for people new in their sewing hobby.  Although the pattern is to make, wad and quilt a small blanket, I believe there is a ton of potential for a large floor cushion that the little people would love to snuggle up on at story time.

    The approximate finished size is 1m x 105cm

     

    Materials List

    Butterfly background + Outer Border -  1 metre

    Wings - 2⁄3 metre or dive into your scraps
    Body - 10cm Width x 1 metre
    Inner border - width of fabric x 21⁄2" Strips
    Binding - width of fabric x 1.5" Strips 1.25 metres²
    Quilt Backing
    Embroidery Thread for antennae
    OPTIONAL - Beads/ Beading thread

    Taught by a talented local professional of 'Sewing Street' fame on the telly. Lucy will guide and instruct on the day to help you go home having learned lots of new skills. 
    Please let us know if you are bringing your own sewing machine or if you require to use one of ours.The day includes refreshments ( tea or coffee). Please bring a packed lunch. 9am - 4pm
