Introduction to foundation paper piecing. Make this beautiful fox panel on the day. You can then go home and go on to make it into a cushion, bag, wall hanging, quilt, let your imagination flow.
Taught by a talented local professional of 'Sewing Street' fame. Lucy will guide and instruct on the day to help you go home having learned lots of new skills. It will be cut on the day.
You'll find the Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) technique is used in some of Lucy's patterns; Glow Up & Blackwell for example. FPP involves sewing fabric pieces onto a printed, numbered paper template, ensuring consistent results every time. Sharp points are made with ease and complex designs can be pieced precisely.
This session will walk you through the technique, using the gorgeous Fox Panel shown, to provide you with all the skills and confidence to take on any FPP design you desire!
As usual, The pattern will need to be purchased prior to the class and the template printed. Standard A4 paper is fine. you can find it here:

Requirements: Matching thread. A basic sewing kit :- mini rotary cutters, cutting mat, quilters ruler, scissors, pins, heat erasable pen, quilters clips. All available to purchase.
The day includes refreshments ( tea or coffee). Please bring a packed lunch. 9am - 4pm
